Who knows you better than your family? Probably, not many people. The same is most likely true for the children that you serve in your early childhood environment. Therefore, the families of those children are the best asset that you have as an educator! Family is Fundamental is a training designed to support anyone concerned about building strong relationships with the families that they serve, especially in situations where abuse and neglect are likely. Preferably, these individuals will be interested in learning about parental involvement and communication to build relationships and resources to reduce and prevent neglect and abuse.
