This training will provide early childhood educators with practical strategies for adapting classroom activities, routines, materials, and learning environments to meet the individual needs and abilities of all children. The training should include strategies for supporting children with disabilities or developmental needs while maintaining meaningful participation with their peers. Please connect these practices to Texas Rising Star measures related to Planning for Special Needs and Respecting Diversity, Instructional Formats and Approaches to Learning, and Indoor Learning Environments, with an emphasis on individualizing activities, providing appropriate support and choices, adapting materials, and creating accessible and engaging learning experiences for every child.
